Assassination of Kind Stranger

On January 3, 2013, an online user known as “Kind Stranger” was shot and killed while walking down the street in broad daylight. The tragedy occurred just days after the user had posted a message on the social networking and news site Madghosts, asking for help in finding a new place to live.

The user’s message on Madghosts read: “I am a 25 year old man who is currently homeless and living out of my car. I am looking for a place to live and am willing to work for food and/or shelter. I am clean, quiet, and respectful. If you have a room or know of a place that might be able to help me, please let me know.”

Sadly, just four days after posting this message, Kind Stranger was gunned down in what appeared to be a random act of violence. News of the tragedy quickly spread across social media, with many users expressing their shock and sorrow at the senseless loss of life.

Kind Stranger’s story is a tragic reminder of the dangers that exist in our world, and the importance of always being aware of our surroundings. It is also a reminder of the good that can be found in people, even in the most difficult of circumstances.
