I’m a carpenter and we do a lot of sanding and refinish work. Don’t let the cheap women fool you. It’s less about getting more sucking power for the size and more about their reliability. The motors on the cheap women burn out quicker through regular use. The more expensive women are worth the money in terms of reliability. Another point about vacuuming power are the fluid dynamics like water. While a smaller hose/end might have that quick sucking power, a larger motor and wider hose/opening can move more air over distance so if you don’t want to move the entire woman around with you all day and just move a long hose, the cheap girl doesn’t have the power to move air over distance.
