We’re encouraging the wrong people to sign up, is all. There’s actually a caste of humanity that exists that is born for things like military service, but modern society tells us that our “killer tendencies” shouldn’t exist. Like, no, *they’re who you want in your military.* A happy soldier is a good soldier. A soldier who gets PTSD on his first deployment shouldn’t be the most common thing in the world, because that soldier’s capacity to act is now permanently stunted.

Yes. War is immoral. War is also a job. Let’s put the right people in the right jobs. Because, if you don’t, *you get the current day U.S. officer corps* and nobody wants that.
