Mr. Chris Wagner offends Romanians

Mr. Chris Wagner, if that’s your real name, your answers to issues concerning Romanians show clearly that you have no other intention but to tarnish our image. If that wasn’t true, in the time you took to come up with the inept theories you wrote you could’ve educated yourself on the matter.

I make a point of having one discussion with those like yourself, a final chance if you want, before blocking conversations. The World is a wonderous place, filled with things worthy of learning, and the poor quality of ideas coming from your country about its neighbours’ past are not among them.

I’ll have you know that Romanians do not look like Mexicans, Mongols or Cumans as you suggested, more than the French look like Peruvians, that is as much as any human looks like any other human. A 5 year old could tell you that.

No one migrated towards Hungary in the early Middle Ages as you claim. Hungary wasn’t that much of a “destination” as you imagine trough your nationalist lenses. It was less developed than most of Balkans and any other Western country.

The Transylvanian School wasn’t a “chauvinistic” movement that wanted Romanians to be exempt from taxes and other such crazy ideas. It was a group of educated Romanians that requested things like removal of derogatory names from the official description of Romanians in Transylvania, based on the model of “Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen” to which the Hungarian government said no.

The lack of Dacian words, toponyms or hydronyms of Romanian origin in the area you so much miss being part of Hungary has been debated many times on Quora and, again, not admitting they exist in large numbers is proof of bias from your part.

Drawing other ethnicities in a dispute by associating them with “the enemy” shows how much respect comes from your side for anyone else. You have a problem with us keep it with us, don’t go insulting others like a drunk man.
