License Plates in Ant Man

So I saw Ant Man and The Wasp the other day, and there are two things I noticed:

1. The movie takes place in California (Bay Area, actually)
2. The movie has *lots* of cars.

So I did what any other reasonable human being would do, and checked the license plates of all the cars featured in the film. And I noticed: absolutely none of the license plates they showed were valid!!!!

At first glance, they might *seem* legit, since all the cars have a license plate of a number, followed by three letters, followed by three more numbers. HOWEVER, all of them had an “O” as either the first letter or third letter. And, if any of you read the Wikipedia page on California license plates ([https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle\_registration\_plates\_of\_California](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_California)), which you all *should* do on a daily basis, you would see that the first and third letters \*cannot\* be I, O, or Q (since I guess they look a lot like numbers).

So basically, Ant Man is completely incorrect. About everything. And the worst part is that I didn’t even get my money back. So screw you, Marvel. Next time you make a movie, at least make it factually correct.
