My answer stands.
It changes the flavour profile of the tea, sweetening it a little without adding sugar.
Honestly, I’ve never really thought about it. I was taught to make tea with milk, so that’s what I like and what I drink.
Would also like to say that this is exclusively black teas and some red teas.
Green teas, fruit teas, herbal teas and the like are not drunk with milk. That’s wrong thinking.
