remember that its not real. when my mind tells me bad stuff, i hear it out, and then remember that none of that is real, i am worth it, i am a good person. i’m doing my best, even if i dont believe that. doing your best looks different to everyone.

Provided it’s not a mental illness, the only way to beat bad thoughts is through useful action. Set a task or project that has utility and accomplish it. Build something that can be used daily. Accomplishment is the best way to feel good about yourself.

Define “bad”
I have ocd and medication helped as a kid. I no longer take meds for ocd, but walking in fresh air with no distractions really helps.
Edit: also praying. But that’s a very personal, individual thing. Works for me.
I drown myself in hobbies. An idle body leads to an idle mind. An idle mind leads to bad thoughts.
Remember the good few acts from others, I have experienced throughout my life.
