If you keep your kitchen towel on the oven rack, how do you deal with the fact that it drags all over the floor every time you open the oven fully?

I take it off the oven handle and use it as an oven mitt
I wash it weekly and keep the floor clean.
I only use it to dry my hands. I don’t care.
I put my hand on the towel and open the oven..
i wrap mine around in thirds basically like imagine a long rectangle paper and fold the two ends in towards the middle so it makes a loop; it’s short & wide & super cute
Have a wall oven so your towels don’t drag on the floor.
I’ve never once even thought about the fact that it touches the floor. And now that I have thought about it, I really don’t care. Problem solved.
1, floor is super clean. And 2, my towels get replaced often.
My wifey takes it off every time we use the oven. She says it might get hot. 🤷🏽♂️
Is the floor dirtier than a towel I use to wipe up everything?
I tuck it over again so it is shorter, then flip it back down when the oven is closed. Or just pull it off and set it on the counter.
That sort of madness is strictly verboten in my kitchen. Gee, why don’t we store the clean napkins on the damn floor too? I’ll never understand…
I generally dont open it fully to begin with.
I don’t use the oven ever. And when I do, I use the mini oven that’s in the corner of my kitchen
The oven is at waist height… not an issue
DUDE THIS
That would be the least of my worries. The towel also has crumbs, child boogers, dog hair etc
