As a youngster in the 1940s, my father began a determined breeding of ravens, with the aim of breeding individuals as large as possible. He collected eggs from nests and incubated them in a hatching machine he built himself. The chicks were fed a high quality diet and weighed daily. Those that grew fastest were always allowed to continue the family, and the others were released into the wild. As the years passed, the size of the crows began to increase. The tail has disappeared completely and the cloaca has migrated to where the tail used to be. The beak is shortened and resembles a human gibbous nose.

From the beginning, the ravens have had a radio on in their breeding shelter as an entertainment source from which they have listened to speech. The radio was later replaced by a television and, more recently, a computer with a large screen and internet connection. Today, ravens know a couple of hundred human words and can use them in the right contexts. The sound is metallic and low.

By nature, male ravens are very aggressive. They try to mate whenever a human enters the cage and without a long-legged brush or similar, they are difficult to control. The females are downright gentle, but even they have a constant sex drive. When a human arrives, they often turn their rear end to the tray to expose the cloaca, and contract the muscles around it, causing the cloaca to pulse and flash. Females like it when the cloaca is fingered and often start repeating phrases they have learned from online porn videos. If you lie on your back on the floor, the female will immediately settle down on top and can anatomically position her cloaca just right for the human genitalia, then begin a rhythmic back and forth motion.
