  1. I mean, I have seen him commit obstruction of justice and witness intimidation on Twitter alone, never mind what the committee has seen in closed sessions.

  2. The law should apply equally to all citizens.

Gerald Ford made a huge mistake when he pardoned Nixon. Nixon should have been held accountable. On the other hand, I have to give Ford a commendation, because he gave the pardon before the election. But he was still wrong.

  3. As an outsider (from the UK) looking in, I’m surprised he hasn’t been arrested already. I’m also surprised that he’s got such a hold on the Republican party. I’m mostly surprised that he was elected in the first place.

  4. Yes trump needs to be charged with crimes. By all measure that man did sever crimes we know about. And I’m willing to bet several we don’t.

If he is never charged. That show the presidents after that they are above the law and can do whatever they want.

  5. It just comes down to all media being owned by an entity with a heavy political bias that uses some controlled opposition to try and give the illusion of this not being the case.

  6. He broke his campaign promises. I never got my wall. I never got my Muslim ban. I never got manufacturing brought back. I never got mass deportation. I got money sent to Israel and tax cuts, how lame.

No interest in his next election, no interest in him. I don’t care what happens to him.

  7. Depends on the crime … if its a crime in the eyes of the established law – then yes. It should not be a political hit job – where articles can drawn up by the next government and former Presidents / Chief executives are charged for political clout

  8. Speaking of polls:

It’s projected that Republicans will gain numerous seats in the House of Representatives in November’s election.

Having a clear majority, they’ll likely bring a swift conclusion to any further moves toward holding the former president accountable.

  9. I think if we can get over 2/3 of the country to agree on something (obviously we’d need an official referendum) then it should automatically be acted upon whether or not it fits in with current laws/legal procedure. After all, the law is supposed to be a reflection of the will of the people.

Try the bastard, put him in prison, and fine him exactly as much as the highest claim he made for his net worth.
