Anybody else feels like giving up on everything, finding a small shed somewhere remote, growing their own food and just be?

  1. It’s my dream. I’m working my ass off towards that goal. One day I’ll be able to retire, live off grid and just be completely happy.

    In the meantime, I deleted all socials permanently(except reddit of course) and focus my attention on making the right steps to achieve my goal

  2. You have no idea how much you enjoy modern conveniences. You have to be rich to live off the grid and actually enjoy your life. People love to romanticize this idea.

  3. Yes but, I can’t afford the mortgage on any place that doesn’t have 16 months of winter, 4 months of black flies, and 6 days of +40° heat.

  4. Occasionally but I know it would only last temporarily. I know there are many out there who prefer that lifestyle, but something like that is only fun for the length of a vacation for me.
