  1. Yep. I went to work one morning and told a crazy story about a night out, then shared the shorter version in the city sub. Not even an hour later a co-worker sent me a DM with a screen shot and said “This you?”

So I now I have this account.

  2. Not yet, but you never know.

    But it’s a big world…

I’ve been here (reddit) for over a decade. The 1st rule of reddit “used” to be, don’t tell anyone the name of your account.

The semi-anonymity with moderation is exactly what makes reddit great. You cannot speak nearly as freely if you know your friends, family and co-workers can see everything you type. That is just Facebook.

  3. Yes, a few people I know in real life have found me on Reddit because they recognized a story I shared. I’m very open about my time on Reddit and always share my username when asked, so it’s not really a secret or something I’m trying to hide. I’m not sure if they were necessarily surprised or not, but they all thought it was cool that I was able to find such an interesting community online.

  4. A girl who was sending pics to my brother in law thought I was his wife coz I post as if I am her and I have her log in so sometimes I post on her page but sometimes it’s HER- and I busted this girl and called her out on her behaviour after my sis told me about her. But I did it on a page the skank mods for so I reckon whoever else is on that knows she’s a skank now? Sisters for the win?
