How do we avoid a future where no one can get a job due to automation and AI, but still have to pay for housing, food, water, and medicine with money that cannot be obtained?

Universal basic income duh
I study AI, and this is not how AI works.
There is no job that can’t be replaced with automation right now.
Easy. It’ll never happen.
People who get their entire knowledge of AI from movies think that will happen.

We shouldn’t make ai to smart
If everything everyone needs can be produced without anyone working, perhaps it is time to change how we decide who gets how much stuff. Why should we keep jobs around, if they are not needed? Why demand people work, if we don’t need them to?
The automation of processes, if anything, has created more jobs, rather than made them more scarce. It’s just that a lot of jobs now involve IT in some capacity or another. I imagine that’s a development that will continue happening. Also, this question is dumb and you need to stop watching movies lol
I get paid over $85 per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I’d be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless.
Here’s what I’ve been doing… http://www.salarybaar.com
