  1. Personally I’ve been still applying to better paying professional jobs in hopes I get 1 yes out of the thousands of applications I’ve submitted and maybe a dozen interviews I’ve had. My contingency plan is probably ill-advised and I know many people probably don’t have the option. But I’ve been doing short burst of working as much overtime as I can mentally handle and/or cutting down on so many costs and putting the money aside somewhere I can invest/save it and not touch it.

  2. Some people work two jobs. Extremely sucky, I know.
Or, if you’re single, try to look for both love and someone who is career-minded at the same time. It sounds shallow, but many people do this without admitting it.

  3. You be thankful for the little you do have. The alternative is a homelss shelter, and I’ve lived in one for 2 yrs. A room with 15 bed no privacy. No toilet paper. People who smoke. Some of which are violent. Or mentally I’ll. And for food? 1 hot meal a day.
