It’s acting, so the same differences as in any movie. Their main job is acting, so they have to fulfill specific criteria depending on the genre. Everything is artificial, they use medication to last longer, enormous amounts of lube, substitutes for body liquid to make it seem like there is more of it, there are breaks between the scenes, so it doesn’t seem as exhausting as real sex etc. Normal people have different jobs they they spend most of their time on, they usually don’t spend as much time on their looks like actors do and sex isn’t the main aspect of their life. In reality most people have sex with people they also have feelings for (even if they don’t want to admit that), so sex isn’t purely a practical task to satisfy your sexual needs, there are emotions involved and it is more “meaningful”.
