If humans vanished tomorrow. What structures that we made will last the longest?

  1. There was a show on the History Channel a few years back that claimed that (besides a layer of plastic embedded in the rock layers), Mount Rushmore will be the last-standing evidence that humans were here.

  2. Pyramids; relatively low and have a wide base, dry environment so limited erosion from rain, mostly solid rock. Will take a while for those to disapear…

  3. On earth. Bunkers that are build into stable bedrock, save from earthquakes.

    For example, Svalbard Global Seed Vault…

    Anything outside earth, could last for billions of years, Voyger 1 and 2.

  4. Outside of Earth, anything that is in permanent orbit or on a non-specified trajectory like Voyager will last potentially forever. On Earth? Maybe some processed things like plastic or some very high grade military buildings?
