I lost it as a kid when she was in a narcotics anonymous meeting and I was playing outside in a field.
I don’t know why that instantly came to mind, I don’t even have a relationship with my mom anymore….probably something deep there so ya it’s that ring I’d look for.

When I was a kid ( about 9) my family and I were traveling throughout the UK. We had rented a car and spent over a month driving around I remember being scared to stand in Loch Ness and talking alien story’s about Stone Henge. Our trip ended in London. We were stopped downtown and a car going 40km slammed into us. The first police to arrive were two officers. I was not hurt but was crying a lot. One of the officers told me that he was also on the queens guard detail and took me around to the back of his car and pulled a helmet out of the boot and took his special badge off and gave it to me. It was a cool experience. I went back to Atlanta and showed it to all of my friends. I unfortunately lost that badge in a field of kudzu playing one day. I and my parents were so upset. 4 years later we moved and I have never been able to find my topless poster of Samantha Fox from Spencer gifts. I jerked it to that thing everyday. I wish I could find that poster again.

In the early 80s I lost a Sassoon wallet with $5 in it. To a kid at that time, that might as well have been all the money in the world. I’d keep the wallet and use it today.
