If you don’t support banning guns (because “criminals will get them anyway) but you support banning abortion, can you explain why?

I’m not for banning guns or abortion.
I just think the federal government shouldn’t rule on the matter.
State issue.
It’s because I believe in protecting life. And these bans protect life of unborn children and the right for people to be able to protect themselves and their families. Now I know that guns can be used to harm others but they can also be used to protect people, in fact the CDC found guns to be used defensively over a million times each year. Now I know people will say that the world would be safer without guns in it, but would it really because I have tens of thousands of years of history saying without guns there is still violence, death, and other atrocities. I rather live in a world where a petite 5’2″ woman can easily defend herself from a 6’5″ bodybuilder, and that is only possible with a gun. As the old saying goes “God created man, but Samuel Colt made them equal”
I’m basically pro choice, absolutely when it’s actually a health issue to the mother. There’s just something gross about the fact that there’s over half a million abortions in the us every year just out of pure stupidity or convenience. As a man who doesn’t get special privileges it just makes women look extremely dumb in my opinion. I have never accidentally gotten anyone pregnant because I would then be forced to pay her for 18 years. Men should have a get out of jail free card too.
Because valid uses of guns far outstrip invalid uses of guns.
Banning Guns is as much endangerment of lives as keeping abortion.
Keeping abortion is not to protect freedom nor is banning guns.
I think there is a good chunk of people that don’t want to ban guns or abortions that now have to decide one or the other. It’s not as simple as vote blue or vote red.
It’s like there’s only small and large but I’m a medium.
Abortion isn’t a right specifically mentioned in the Constitution.
The 2nd Amendment. If it’s not (edited into) the Constitution it’s not a right.
