  1. So many things. Nobody cares about popularity. Don’t take grandparent’s love for granted, they’ll be gone sooner than you think. Don’t try so hard in school that you hate life, but try hard enough that you do well. Appreciate the friends that truly look out for you. Remember that whatever horrible thing happens now, it’ll probably be a smaller and smaller scar as life goes on, so don’t stress so much about it.

  2. Quit football and baseball, join band and track, don’t date like 75% of the people that you dated and for gods sake go to therapy and don’t get up to 285lbs in college.

  3. That crazy girl in band class? She’s really special, and she’s going to mean a lot to you. I know you aren’t sure exactly how you feel about her, and that’s ok, but for God’s sake, make that clear to her! Misleading her will hurt her more in the long run than being completely honest with her right now would. Also, I know things are tough at home, but it will get better, just give it time. And maybe listen to your brother when he suggests therapy. Last but not least, that thing you’re dreaming of doing actually does happen, and it’s every bit as awesome as you expect. You dream a seemingly impossible dream, and then dare to find the possibilities that lie within. That’s a pretty special ability that not everybody has, so don’t let it go to waste.

  4. I’d simply tell myself that everything will be fine. I am who I am today because of the mistakes I’ve made and the experiences I’ve had. I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t.

  5. Don’t try to change the environment or behaviors of people that affect you. Adapt yourself or increase your pain tolerance. in an ever changing and unpredictable world, the only way that works is adapting yourself and refraining from complaining. find the way, there is always an answer (and that is not complaining). also, be rational. very rational.

  6. There will be a “bad thing” called “covid” and that when it comes, go out a link all the poles and sniff all the facts and it will protect you. Ha ha, I bet the dumbass will do it too.

  7. Don’t drink so much beer and get education instead of wasting years working for shit wages in kitchens. Stand up for yourself, share what bothers you, be polite.
