it’s the flowers and the bees in Dutch. Birds and the bees never made much sense to me. Bees actually help flowers reproduce, but bees and birds have nothing to do with sex.

We use the word “Ufklärig” which is the same word used for the age of Enlightemenr which I find quite funny

That’s a term used in the UK, usually by parents as a polite way of saying sex.
It’s not called in any way cause people think they’ll teach kids how to have sex so we don’t learn that in school… stupid

A lot of people seem really confused by the OP; in most of the US we call the actual class where you learn about contraception and STDs Sex Ed, ‘the birds and the bees’ is a euphemism for the sex talk your parents give you, and is considered a little antiquated. ‘The Talk’ or ‘The Sex Talk’ are more common.
i live in US but in my country they don’t talk about sex due to the culture. you kind of have to figure it out on your own
