In the United States, we call sex education “learning about the birds and the bees”. What is it called in your country?

  1. it’s the flowers and the bees in Dutch. Birds and the bees never made much sense to me. Bees actually help flowers reproduce, but bees and birds have nothing to do with sex.

  2. I live in a conservative country where openly talking about sex is considered inappropriate, so you just have to learn yourself via the internet or one of your friends lol

  3. A lot of people seem really confused by the OP; in most of the US we call the actual class where you learn about contraception and STDs Sex Ed, ‘the birds and the bees’ is a euphemism for the sex talk your parents give you, and is considered a little antiquated. ‘The Talk’ or ‘The Sex Talk’ are more common.
