Pretty good. Work in an office with a big ol supply closet so there’s always plenty of pens, pencils, and notebooks so that’s a non-issue.
Pull in a respectable salary, I’m paid to watch the big picture on engineering developments, keep an eye out for long term risks, find cost saving opportunities, foresee issue that may negatively impact schedule (bottle necks, improperly scoped tasks, etc.) We also hire some more detail oriented people to track data and analyzed trends. We take advantage of each other’s strengths, shore up each other’s weaknesses and build a better team a result.

I’m a technician, I also just graduated 4 months ago and from what I’ve learned is nothing really matters so I’ll just enjoy my time with my family and friends.

I still forget small stuff constantly and am now weirdly protective of my pencils and pens.
20 years later and I’m still working through my old school pencil case with all the stuff I acquired over the years. Came in handy during uni.
