Independent. I worked in an HQ role and dealt with multiple global teams. The Europeans were always checking in, asking for stuff, running things by me. The Aussies I’d not hear from for weeks then they’d just pop up like: “hey mate, we’ve got this $300MM deal lined up, can you sign off on your bits? Cheers.”

Positives: Beautiful country with unique animals I’d love to see (quokka, wallaby, wombat, kangaroos, koalas) Amazing accents!!! Almost everyone I’ve ever seen from there is physically attractive. Food seems amazing too.
Negatives: they seem to dislike Americans, so it’s left a sour taste in my mouth and now I’m not sure I want to go since I might not feel welcomed.
