  1. In my car I keep hand sanitizer, sunscreen, tissues, bottled water, mints, toothbrushes, toothpaste, cologne, nail clipper, hair ties, picnic blanket, throw blanket, towel, paper towels, microfiber towels, nitrile gloves, spare jacket, spare pair of shoes, spare change of clothes, spare eyeglasses, sunglasses, flashlight, scissors, multitool, paracord, duct tape, jumper cables, hidden cash.

I can’t count the number of situations that have been saved by having this stuff in my car. Just last week, I met up with a group of people at a park in the afternoon and no one had brought water. I handed out water like Jesus. Another time, I had gone with my friend to Joshua Tree and she had only brought a light sweater. As soon as the sun was setting it was freezing and she was glad I had a heavy jacket for her.

  2. I’ve got an “emergency” bundle in the trunk of my car. It’s got some deodorant, a toothbrush + travel toothpaste, some tampons, a spare outfit (underwear, shirt, pants, jacket, socks, shoes), a first aid kit, a water bottle, lighter, and a blanket

  3. Alcohol wipes in my car. Doesn’t melt like deodorant and can be used in place of deodorant in a pinch if I forget to put it on. Doesn’t last as long, but it does keep the smell away for a bit since it kills the bacteria helping produce the smell.

  4. Lighters, papers and filters. I don’t smoke I just wanna be the guy who’s got their friend when they run out of fluid papers or filters you know 😂

  5. Besides the normal things, I have a rock in my bag in case I need a hammer. Happens way more often than you’d think.

Also my husband gave me a hi-vis vest to keep in my car in case I ever have to pull over and get out.

  6. Wife has a disaster bucket- make shift oven, water, granola, etc… all in a five gallon bucket. If we lose contact with civilization for a week, we are ready.

  7. Flashlights, candles and a lighter in my room. I’m quite might blind and can’t see shit if the electricity goes out.

In the winter I always keep a shovel an extra sweater, candles, kitty litter and of course ice scraper in my car. Oh yeah and bungee cords
