  1. I didn’t go outside for 3 years due to depression and avoiding my aspergers and noticed many changes and struggled to adapt to some. They weren’t massive though because you can still see what the world is like to a certain degree on the internet, it was the minor things in everyday life you don’t see talked about like public transport, changes to etiquette, how you purchase things electronically etc. and some of which were influenced by the pandemic.

PS I know you said 10+ years but the amount of people who’re able to to answer that question truthfully is really tiny so I thought it might be worth it to add in my perspective.

  2. I would open this prompt up to more people and shorten the 10+ years. I know my father regularly went out into the forest/natural parks of places and tried to stay connected with the internet, and would force himself to go into towns and talk to people every month or so, he always said loneliness makes the mind go crazy.

He was right, there was a lot of people he’s run into that just talk and talk and talk without knowing when to stop because they don’t have those social cues anymore
