  1. You need to start running and working out. It has done wonders for me.

    I do occasionally have a few drinks. But not everyday and certainly not all that many.

  2. Honestly the thing about addictions is the obsession, just phrasing it as ‘a dopamine hit’ reflects on how you want easy pleasure.

    Best way to move past substances for pleasure is to pay attention to the fact you can have great experiences without them. Physical euphoria is simple and easy to appreciate but it lacks the kind of cognitive/mental aspect that leaves you with something to enjoy afterwards even after the physical pleasure fades
