You’re our little brother which means we can mess with you and mock but by God I will not tolerate people from other countries saying bad things about you
Flight of the Concords
Your country is very pretty.
Usually I try to think of some bands I like from a country, but the only one of yours that comes to mind is Alien Weaponry. They’re pretty great though!
Some of the nicest people I know are Kiwis.. but every now and then you get some dickhead who moves to Australia because apparently the wages are poor in NZ… then all they do is complain about seemingly every aspect of being in Australia.
And I get it.. I wasn’t born here either and constantly trash talked Oz because I was a kid who didn’t want to move away but these are grown ass adults.
But the nice ones are ridiculously nice, so you’ve got that going for you.
I was born and raised in New York City. I remember one day in Third Grade where the teacher was telling us the populations of various countries around the world. I’ll never forget the looks of incredulity and indignation on all those 10 year old faces when we learned that New Zealand was a country, yet had a smaller population than our city.
BTW, nobody does indignation like a ten year old.
UK here! Your country looks absolutely beautiful and has always been top of my list of places I would love to visit!
Also, the Tuatara is fucking rad
We love our little bro Unzud.
kiwi
You all seem to be short people carrying rings up mountains and fighting dragons.
You’re like Australia but different.
I forget you guys exist tbh
the cunts who think they made pavlova.
Everybody lives in Hobbit-houses, Peter Jackson is the head of the church there and your prime minister is awesome
Similar to Australians but calmer and less prone to get into bizarre situations
Fortunate to have an apparently competent Prime Minister.
I think it’s cute y’all call yourselves Kiwis. Kinda just always thought of you as a broken off piece of Australia. But I just read an article about the 8th continent being New Zealand…apparently your island is part of a much larger connected land mass, just a little bit of it is up out of the water. So that’s kinda neat. But besides that, I got nothing.
Your country is breath taking and your people are legends! It was such a friendly place to be.
I dont
I don’t really think of you at all. Sorry.
Sorry if this is harsh:
The rest of your Five Eyes friends would really appreciate it if you would have an actual military and stop electing Chinese Communist Party-sympathizing clowns. They are not your friends. We are.
If China launches a war in the Pacific, you’re a target. Being able to defend yourself without us showing up to save you would be good.
I live in the USA so tend to forget other countries exist as most americans do… i hear someone say “i’m from new zealand” and i’m like “oh cool” and then say to myself “where the fuck even is that?”
Pretty island nation with a property value problem. Don’t usually hear too much about you all though
Kiwis, Blackcaps
Billy Butcher
Small beautiful country with great rugby players
I’d love to know where you are on a map.
so pretty it’s almost seems fictional, even my world map isn’t showing you
I don’t.
Viva La Resistance comes from y’all and I LOVE almost everything they do. I follow them on YouTube, tictok and fb. They definitely help me to love NZ even though that’s all I know about NZ.
I think of “Flight of the Concords”
I have only really heard positive things about New Zealand. Some movies might give people a negative impression about some aspects of the country (eg: Once Were Warriors), but overall it’s definitely one of my top destinations to travel to when I can afford to do so.
I think you’re cool and lovely and have a beautiful country that appeals to me far more than Aus as I understand it to be significantly less dangerous….also that film Falling Inn Love was it? The scenery 😍😍😍
I don’t honestly
Awesome country (that has produced some great cricketers)
You are the top a submerged hidden continent. Also, lots of skilled unicyclists.
Lord of the rings and cute animals
Know a couple of Kiwis, decent folks and love the accent. Your country looks beautiful, if I was gonna emigrate it’d be there if Canada.
I’ve seen behind-the-scenes stuff from Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, and Ash vs Evil Dead about how lovely the natives living there are at helping out with setting things up for the shootings. So, from that, you seem cool. But, what do I know, maybe it’s romanticized.
Australia junior? The Hobbit?
Having lived in NZ myself: boredom. Yes, it’s beautiful but that’s where it ends I’m afraid.
I’ve heard much about the “man up” culture and its effects on the suicide epidemic there. How true is this?
New Zealand: like Scotland but further
Brett & Jermaine & Taika & Gandalf
very peaceful and loving country
Lamb chops and Abalone.
I want to live there. I’m American. You have almost no gun violence and a great health care system. You believe in science and were covid cautious during the pandemic. You seem like friendly people who aren’t obnoxious. The cities are probably a lot smaller and I’m sure more rural than what I’m used to in the US. I think it takes longer for everything from Amazon to reach you than it does me. Maybe less goods and services are available.
Sheep and really bushy eyebrows
Lord of the rings, Taika Waititi, sheep, mountains.
