  1. Still shop clearance racks first for clothes and footwear.

Don’t get a drink when getting food from my company’s cafeteria because tea and water are free upstairs.

  2. I use everything until the wheels fall off. My desk is an IKEA dining room table that I’ve had since 2006. I can’t even count the number of moves it’s gone through. It’s banged up to hell but I love it.

  3. I haven’t bought clothing or furniture at full price ever.

The polo ralph lauren chinos I have were all bought for between $12 and $22 on ebay through surplus sellers.

  4. when we first moved to Canada we were poor, and i still think its weird to spend more than 20 dollars on a birthday or Christmas present. just seems a bit … lavish.

  5. Maximizing cashback on online purchases through credit cards and web extensions.

Having apps/accounts for food and clothing places to save money.

Look at weekly ads for grocery stores before going shopping to save the most.

  6. Not many… let’s face it, I’m fat, lazy, stoopid and unrepentant now, but I guess there are still a few old habits. My cooking and eating preferences are pretty rustic although I do like to experiment with different recipes. I still like oldie folk music. I have a weird appreciation for individuals who have zero standards for proper social behaviour. Heck, why not, life is short. Lol
