[SERIOUS] There is a pending lawsuit for the Ulvade tragedy and they will be playing 911 calls of the children inside the locked classroom begging for help. Do you think you be able to serve of this jury and go through this? Why?

  1. If you’re asking would I be able to listen to the calls? Yes. If you’re asking would I be able to serve on the jury? Hell no. I’m exactly the type of gun-hating liberal the defense would boot from the courtroom the second they got the chance.

  2. No. I’m a mother. I’m the survivor of rape and abuse, I’ve been trapped and Ive been in fear for my safety and my life. I have CPTSD. If I were on the jury and I heard those voices… I would implode and go catatonic. Anyone who does serve on that jury is going to need daily EMDR sessions to manage the results of being immersed in that trauma, day after day.

  3. No. The incompetence and malevolence of the police were such that I cannot be in the same room as one of them (or their lawyers) without resorting to violence.

Disclaimer: I attended a police academy (taught at a community college) when I was young and had dropped out of college. Oddly enough, when returning to finish that degree, the courses that made up the police academy (even the “firing range lab”) counted as “humanities electives”.

  4. I melt when my granddaughter tells me she needs me. For anything. Snack? Absolutely! Do your hair?! Yep! Hold me while we snuggle and watch a movie and tell me you’ll never let me go?! I got you. … …watch while grandma claws at a mans throat, reaches down to rip out what is left of his bleeding black heart, only to feed it to the flames of the pit where you will rot forever…. Absolutely. Now…who wants popcorn!!!?
