  1. Read, that’s how I did it. And write, write a lot, so much that you figure yourself out and then can help change your own story. Youve got this. It’s a big step acknowledging this alone, therapists often do feed on vulnerability.

  2. Group therapy. I went to 12 step programs and found spending time with people with my issues really beneficial. Lots of people have PTSD so I’m sure there are groups out there.

  3. Wish I knew. Most therapists open up with questions my autistic brain literally cannot answer. Like “Why are you here?” How the F should I know. It’s my first time in therapy. Only thing I’ve been told is I’m autistic and need therapy. You’re the professional, you tell me.
