  1. I wasn’t allowed to read fiction as a child because something something I should only be thinking about Jesus and his profit Ellen.

    Perhaps with some irony to the above, the only series I recall reading was Narnia in eighth grade.

    When I got to high school, Stephen King was a favorite author, though I don’t recall that he wrote any series.

  2. Depends on Age, I started my book obsession with Roger Hargreaves books, I was enthralled by Mr Men and Timbuctoo books and learned to read through them. I then moved onto Enid Blyton, Mr Pinkwhistle was my favourite before Roald Dahl sparked my imagination, obviously Charlie and the Chocolate factory and the Great glass elevator were the ones I read again and again.
