  1. Reading stuff on Reddit tbh, going for walks and listening to some tunes in good weather not too hot but not cold either..during autumn weather is my fav
Edit: watching wholesome tv shows I’ve seen a million times cause I know how it’ll end

  2. My routine relaxes me. I have built it up over the past few months and I love ticking tasks off of my to-do list. Reading a good book at the end is great too.

  3. Colouring!

I got really into it when I was in psych hospital and carried it on afterwards because it is a really good activity for my headspace.

You can get really great colouring books for adults with incredibly intricate designs, or funny ones, or even rude ones! I have built up a serious collection of gel pens.

A good piece can take me two hours or more to do. I get so lost in it that I forget about my worries and stress. It’s just me, the page and the colours and before I know it, a big chunk of time has passed without me feeling anything negative. It’s been a great discovery for me and I’d highly recommend it.

If you’d like to try it but don’t want to commit any expense, you can find designs online for free, print them off and just start off with cheap colouring pencils and see if you enjoy it! From there, if you enjoy it, you can build. Some people like to use markers or felt tipped pens, some like colouring pencils…for me it’s gel pens.

  4. Playing the piano. I learnt it all on my own simply because I liked it so much. Glad I wasn’t coaxed into piano lessons, or else I would’ve grown to hate it, like a lot of others did.
