This is a tough one, it’s a tie between Death Note and Attack on Titan for me.

Oh boy. It all started with the adult swim block of anime. So Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Blue Gender, Samurai Champloo, and even Inuyasha.
Attack on titan was the first one i really watched that opened the door for me.
Demon slayer is the one that got me to start loving anime.
SAO! Amazing first season and concept, really enjoyed underworld as well
Naruto, Inazuma Eleven and Dragon Ball. Yeah, I’ve been watching anime since I was a 10 y/o. Most of you don’t even know about Inazuma Eleven lol. Then it was a never turning back thing.

Dragon Ball Z was the first one, then Yu Yu Hakusho and Slam Dunk were the ones I really followed as a kid. I stopped watching after that until I got introduced to Bleach in college. After that I stopped for a very long time.
What got me back was Attack on Titan and Hunter X Hunter.

I wouldn’t say I’m in the anime world really, but I give it a chance now. I don’t like most of them, but every so often I find something I really like. I’ll saw Initial D around 2006 and it was the first time I didn’t think an anime was completely stupid.
I stopped watching anime after seeing “wandering son”

Cartoon Network as a kid, as I grew into my teens I’d start googling about them and limewiring then torrenting the popular but not brought over ones.
I don’t remember the first, probably Pokemon or Yugioh?
Akira, but the seeds were planted when I was little, watching Kimba the White Lion and Astroboy.

Hate to say this but…Bleach??
I watched Death Note and Bleach at the same time and liked death note way better but Bleach’s soul society arc was very exciting… And then the rest happened.

My friend’s parents used to import anime vhs back in the 90s. They had a big poster of the Puma Sisters from Dominion Tank Police on their living room door which caught my attention as a young lad. They played the show for me and that was my gateway into anime
