  1. Rolling around and stretching on the floor for 5-10 minutes helps to relieve a huge amount of body aches/soreness for me. It really relaxes your body and loosens it up.

  2. Referred Pain or pain presenting itself in another part of the body away from the originating source. Heart attack = left arm and or jaw pain. Liver or gallbladder = right shoulder pain. Ruptured ovarian cyst = left shoulder pain. There are a host of others. Maybe not cool in the sense of “wow this is awesome”, but more of a “so that’s kinda wierd” cool.

  3. When doing pullups, imagine that you’re pulling your elbows down, not pulling your body up. It’s makes them easier and forces you to use the muscles in your back more.

  4. ive learned my brain is stupid enough to where if i repeat something enough times I’ll start to believe it

works wonders for going to sleep after a horror movie

  5. Two ways I’ve learned how to stop hiccups:

    1. To stop someone from hiccuping, bet that you will give $50 if they hiccup two more times. Tell them to prove it. 9/10 times, their hiccups will disappear. Works great on kids.

    2. You realize you have hiccups, then /try/ to hiccup. Actively try to make yourself do another one. For some reason, it’ll stop.

  6. When you do pullups, try to imagine yourself pulling your elbows down, not pulling your body up. It’s a mental trick that can make them feel easier, because it forces you to use the muscles in your back more.
