  1. Use a coaster

    Don’t insult people over their physical appearance. I have one son who is super fit and one who is overweight. The fit one (16) when he gets really mad at the younger one (11, the overweight one) will start calling him a fatass or tell him to eat a salad. Even though I’ve always stressed that 1) those are the easiest insults to reach for, come up with something more creative, FFS and 2) don’t comment on other people’s bodies.

    I told my 16 y/o look, if you want to HELP your brother, help him, otherwise, don’t fucking insult him over it.

  2. Don’t go on eachothers bed (sisters) without permission. Don’t use computers without asking. Don’t turn on your snap map. Don’t break things or write on walls.

  3. Don’t stay past your welcome. Too many people take advantage of my roomates hospitality and expect to stay rent free for days/weeks when they have nowhere else to go
