  1. asking somebody out on a date. Worse case they say no, and who cares you’re back to where you are now. Best case they say and then who knows what might happen.

  2. Buying about $10’s worth of an insanely cheap stock (talking about $0.00001). Worst case scenario, you lost $10 dollars. Best case scenario, you took your $10 to the moon. Of course, it’s *far more likely* that you’d lose the $10 instead of striking it big, but the risk of losing big is pretty low.

    Related note, playing the lottery *on occasion*. Same logic, as long as you don’t make it a habit and keep sinking considerable amounts of money into it.

  3. If you dont work with them or know them as a friend before, asking people out. The worst they can say is no, and if they go on a whole insulting rant about how you are ugly and ain’t shit, then you know it was a bullet that you dodged
