Log in to Reply We watched the cubs win the world series together Log in to Reply When I was 13, we went to Myrtle Beach for a weekend, just he and I. While walking down the strip, we stopped and looked up at a bungee tower and wound up staring up at this tower for what seemed like hours. I’d saved some money for the trip, but I didn’t have enough to do it. He looked down at me at said “I’ll pay half.” I. Lost. My. Shit. We paid, I went up the tower and jumped off. They gave me a certificate and everything. I got home and I ran in the door waving my certificate screaming all excited, my mom took the certificate out of my hand, read it, and proceeded to lose her fucking mind. It was a moment we always brought up afterward. Mom would STILL get pissed 25-30 years later. Log in to Reply Took a friend of his and a friend of mine fishing when I was a kid, was a pretty cool day tbh. Log in to Reply What’s one of those? Log in to Reply On my birthday last year, I skipped school with my dad to go fishing during redfish season. We caught 30 reds in ~4 hours, until we were tired. I would stay up until 12 and me and him would get a bag of popcorn and binge watch Rick and morty together and just laugh. It helped me escape from all of my problems. Log in to Reply My dad and I did everything together when I was younger! But I particularly remember him teaching me to dance while he sang and played air drums. I will never forget my Daddy. I miss him every single day. Log in to Reply Back when I was a child, before life removed all the innocence. My father would lift me high and dance with my mother and me and then spin me around ‘till I fell asleep. Then up the stairs he would carry me. And I knew for sure I was loved. If I could get another chance, another walk, another dance with him, I’d play a song that would never ever end. How I’d love, love, love to dance with my father again Log in to Reply Watching cartoons with him like king of the hill. Log in to Reply When I was younger it was getting coffee in that old blue pickup before school on several mornings. Didn’t happen all the time, which made these occasions all the better. Log in to Reply My dad and I never hung out much, but there was nothing wrong with our relationship, I was just a big mama’s girl instead. One weekend she went out of town to visit her sisters, so it was just me and dad, and he brought me to this air force show thing that was in town. I really didn’t wanna go, but I went anyway cause he seemed excited to take me, and honestly it was a lot of fun. It was the first time my dad and I really bonded. Log in to Reply Not to put a sour taste in people’s mouths but I can think of specific instances where my mom really did some heinous stuff but my dad not so much. Yeah we have general disagreements on politics or whatever but my dad and I have always seen eye to eye. Honestly times with my dad are in general pretty darn good but ones where we laugh really hard at something are the best ones. Laughing with Dad is something that can’t be replicated. Log in to Reply Being with him always! Log in to Reply What father? Lmao Log in to Reply I was thirteen we went on the boat with a couple of his friends. One of the engines blew a fuse. I was the only sober one on the boat, so I drove home with two engines working. I didn’t even have a boater’s liscense. Log in to Reply Taking me to see Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls in the movie theater and getting up to walk out a couple times because he was laughing so hard. I could still hear him laughing outside of the theater. Log in to Reply Out in the middle of the mountains at night where there were a ton of stars. We just rode on a 4-wheeler looking at constellations and coming up with some of our own. Log in to Reply When me and him rode Splash Mountain (the one in California) for the first time when I was was in first grade. To this day it is one of my most nostalgic and cherished memories. Also when he took me to see [Bugs Bunny at the Symphony](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2bilTTzO-g) when I was 5. I only have vague memories of it, but it was magical. Log in to Reply Home Depot runs every Weekend Log in to Reply It’s more of a funny moment, kind of uncomfortable. I specifically remember I was helping my dad make burgers, ( and we buy ground beef and make the Patty’s) and my dad goes “Do you know about beating meat?” I go “what?” “Do you know about beating meat?” “No…” The he laughed and I was uncomfortable the rest of the time we made burgers.
