  1. Red Dead Redemption 2. Such a brilliant story with so many amazing themes. Betrayal, redemption, grief, and we see the characters slowly change and lose themselves in response to the loss. We learn to adore characters we’ll later hate, grieve characters that died before the storm, etc. It’s an amazing story I still think about.

  2. Code Name STEAM. Aliens are attacking the steam powered earth and Abe Lincoln (played by Wil Wheaton) who faked his death is putting together a team lead by Henry Fleming to re-take the planet with help from John Henry, Tom Sawyer and others.

  3. Breath of the wild. The fact that you can do the entire game out of order and still figure out the story makes it even better. The concept of each sort of checkpoint in the story being a memory that gets recovered means that the story gets pieces together really well and feels more immersive when you run through it the first time. Not to mention the fact that the story itself is just really good

  4. Even though Bethesda bungled the writing, I thought Fallout 3 had a very good story concept. Purifying the water so that people of the wasteland won’t get sick, and then a powerful entity trying to hijack the waterpurifier to use it for genosidal purposes. It felt very believable
