Thank God no one said The Stones. They have been called overrated for so long I think that they have sort of become fairly rated
Beyonce. Don’t get me wrong, her voice is great. But her music is just so-so. I don’t think she’s awful, just too highly thought of for what she is.
Before all else I feel it should be the boybands who didn’t even write their own music.

Coldplay. Started as a semi respectable indie pop band with a radiohead fetish and slowly watered down their sound to the most contrived and formulaic pop-by-numbers. Even their own fans are seemingly like “eh” over their latest release.

Nirvana was absolute garbage. Overrated, under talented, angst-y, whiney, emo teen shit. The only good thing to come out of Nirvana was the Foo Fighters and they’re not nearly as great as people would like you to think. Had Cobain not been offed by his junkie POS old lady (in whatever dysfunctional Sid and Nancy bullshit they had going on), nobody would even remember them.
Nirvana- I was a teenager at the time and apparently did not have the appropriate amount of angst to get down with Nirvana. Outside of the angst cloud, looking at Nirvana with an objective lens, complete shite.
Beatles. This will make a lot of people angry. But they are mostly to blame for recycled music (4 chords). Also between the 60s and 70s they weren’t the only ones “breaking the rules” I mean Jimi Hendrix in my opinion was way more ground breaking.
