  1. For stamp collectors, everyone is a bit different but I think almost anyone who is into philately would shit themselves if they found an original [Inverted Jenny](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverted_Jenny) stamp. Their estimated value is somewhere north of 1.5 **million** dollars. Recently the US post office made a commemorative set of them, and those are still my favorite stamps I own.

  2. Signed copy of The Hobbit or The Lord Of The Rings

a First Edition of one of those.

or the box set of those unofficial books that were printed, Ace something? I love the cover art on those.

Edit: would also love that one edition with the lion still on the cover with the emus.

  3. A complete set of G2 Protectobots and Stunticons; They were technically never released, but a few prototype samples are in collector circulation somewhere. I believe I once saw the Protectobots going for around $20,000 on eBay.

  4. Gibson Les Paul SG. When shown the prototype, Les Paul famously said “Get my name off that devil horned instrument.” There’s a few out there in circulation though…

  5. For gaming? Probably an RTX 3090 sold for MSRP or even a discount.

Basically impossible. It’s already very hard to even find a 3090 in general. But if you *do* find one online, they are severely marked up. They are going for at least a thousand more than MSRP at the moment. And if you get them as part of a total PC build, everything in that build is also marked up too…

For a guy who has been wanting to build a new high end PC for the last year, it’s been frustrating for sure!

  6. I have a pair of dragon ball z goku sneakers by adidas in size 13 that are near impossible to find.

They are worth over a few grand because they didn’t make big sizes so incredibly hard to find.

Very fitting since I’ve been watching this show since I was 7 and at 34.

    I will never sell!

  7. I have a fair amount of old synthesizers. Most people that collect old synths have their eye on a Roland Jupiter 8 or Jupiter 6 or the very rare Yamaha DX-1.

I stumbled on a Jupiter 6 at an amazing price. I always wanted one. It was cool, but not THAT cool. I sold it about a year later.

  8. An original, unedited film print for “The Magnificent Ambersons.”

Following “Citizen Kane,” Orson Welles went to work on his second film for a now out of business film studio called RKO Pictures. “Citizen Kane” didn’t make a lot of money for RKO (and also really pissed off William Randolph Hearst, one of the wealthiest men in the world at the time) and so, to try and maximize profits, after Welles finished with “The Magnificent Ambersons” the studio handed the film off to another editor, who severly altered the movie’s ending for the worse.

Many people speculate that if the original cut of “The Magnificent Ambersons” was released it would have surpassed “Citizen Kane” as one of the best films of all time.

In all likelihood Welles’s uncut version of the film doesn’t even exist, but they found “The Passion of Joan of Arc” in a mental hospital’s storage closet 50 years after all copies were supposedly destroyed so you never know.

  9. An original complete video recording of one of the lost episodes of Doctor Who from the 60s. As far as I’m concerned, wiping the recordings from their archives is one of the worst things the BBC has ever done.

  10. I’m mean… I’m into fish keeping with my bf and we’re on the freshwater side of things, but over there on the saltwater side, they literally have a coral named “holy grail torch coral” which costs like hundreds of dollars PER HEAD at our LFS lol

  11. King Racing bypass shocks for off-road race vehicles. $2,500 per shock if not more, so around $10,000 for all 4 wheels. Not including bump stops, limiting straps, or secondary springs. They’re used on pretty much every major winner’s vehicle of the Baja 1000 style races.

    Bilstein Gang

  12. Got a bunch of fandoms, but here are some good ones. Hope these games count as “items”:

    “Subnautica 3: Ten Thousand Fathoms”

    “Ace Combat 8: Torres’ Return”

“Red Dead 2: The Magnate Role DLC” (mining, oil, steel, hotels & saloons, houses, etc. Either that or a new hat, IDK)

“GTA Onlilne: Rubio’s Revenge” (Go and heist Mini Madrazo and get paid by Rubio)

And lastly, “Red Alert 2: Yuri’s Revenge Remastered”

  13. 1.the entire outfit nicki minaj wore in super bass,

2.the unfinished lollipop she gave to her fans for some reason,

3.and her verse on ‘Monster’ (u kno the one)

  14. * **Nerd Movies from my childhood**: Luke Skywalker’s original lightsaber prop (currently held by the Ripley company in Orlando, last sold for $450k), Indiana Jones’ original fedora (last sold $300k) and whip (last sold $33k, at least 10 props were used in Raiders alone, so they aren’t *as* rare), The trap unit from Ghostbusters (last sold $230k, London)
    * **Classic Rock:** Jimi Hendrix’s 1968 Fender Strat ($2 million) or Eddie Van Halen’s Frankenstrat ($100k)
    * **Star Trek**: any on-screen ship model (The Enterprise D last sold for $500k), Kirk’s uniforms, Geordi’s VISOR props
    * **Doctor Who**: any Doctor’s sonic screwdriver props, or one of Tom Baker’s scarfs or hats.

  15. From Supernatural, Dean’s jacket. it was an iconic piece of costume for the show but someone stole it from the back of a truck and hasn’t been seen since.
