What small gift did someone once give you, which seemed unimpressive or underwhelming at first, but actually in the long run became extremely appreciated?

When i was a teen my grandma gave me a pink chenille nightshirt. I rolled my eyes and wrote the obligatory thank you note. Next Christmas, when that nightshirt was a threadbare rag from so much laundering, I wrote her a heartfelt note. Thx for a sweet memory of growing up.
My uncle made a wooden farm tractor and trailer attachment for me when I was a toddler. However I never received the gift because he was on my dads side and my mother is insane.
Eventually when I was 18/19 I finally got it. It was in a closet at my grandmothers house for over a decade.
Now I have it off to the side where I don’t see it too often, but whenever I walk past it I always admire the craftsmanship he put into it.
I was once given a good umbrella. Push a button to open AND close it, folds up very small. That was almost 20 years ago and I still have it.
When my dad gave me a Spiderman blanket for my 5th birthday….now I fucking love that blanket & can’t imagine sleeping comfily w/o it
