  1. What are your interests? Goals? Ambitions? Focus on achieving the things you have desires for.
    Of course it is only natural to care for someone and want someone. If you really don’t want to depend on people I suggest a dog. They are loyal and loving and will always be there for you to love.

  2. I think treating yourself better and take steps to find out who you are, what you like, need and want. Uncertainty is what we usually tend to fear. So if you find those things out you’ll have less uncertainty in your life. Also remember that becoming co dependent of someone can be harmful to the person you’re codependent on and you. Abuse and losing yourself become more likely in codependent relationships.

  3. Look at yourself in the mirror. Look yourself in the eyes and count down your fears and insecurities. Say it out loud and then say what you are willing to do to overcome them. Choose one thing to do, can be anything from a few pushups to completing a task you’ve been putting off, and try to do it the next day. Go in front of the the mirror again and say what you achieved. Do it everyday. Choose your tasks and attempt to complete them and then face yourself. Be afraid to disappoint yourself!
