My school had slave day as a fundraiser. Once a year you could buy your fellow classmates and have them be your slave for a day.
Buying smokes while underage, with a note from my parents. These days, a 7-year-old won’t be walking to the store, grabbing a Coke, a bag of chips and a 25 pack of smokes.
Playing a violent, reverse tag game called “smear the queer”. Wonderful place, my hometown.

I can see WHY it isn’t acceptable anymore, because people went overboard and started stabbing and jumping eachother. When I was growing up, we would square up, place our blows until someone fell and didnt/couldn’t get up, shake hands and then walk away. I’ve actually made and saved friendships this way

SOOOOOOOOO many things.
I mean, I literally don’t know where to begin.
And for the record, it wasn’t acceptable then. But that didn’t stop people from doing it in large groups. Which is equally applicable to some things that happen today.
Casual racism, casual homophobia,, and leaving kids home alone.
Beating up your bully.
Todays school system does not allow for you to retaliate physically. When I was younger that’s how you would deal with a problem like that. But I gave that advice to my younger cousin as he was being pushed around at school and he got an in school suspension for punching his bully after being pushed to the ground. Yet the bully faces no consequence.
Being a patriotic straight white Christian man
Not letting men dominate women’s sports.
