  1. Average ocean depth is 3.7km or 2.3miles according to satelite images.

If it does increases by 10% that means lots of east us coast would be underwater. Europe would also have lots of problems, mostly Netherlands because it dries ocean and uses it as something else.

For sea animals it could be very good and very bad because of all the trashes that would have got underwater, but buildings could be very good home for those animals

Fun fact: there is a crab that lives in a seashell and while its growing, the seashell needs to be replaced by bigger one. Those crabs could find very good houses for themselves

  2. There will be a lot of land loss! Small Caribbean & East Asian islands will completely disappear. Italy’s Venice would be devastated if not completely lost. So many costal cities, like Florida, LA, Sydney, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Hawai, Dubai, & much more would be significantly damaged & their maps changed permanently.

  3. Basically, the region I’m about to move out to is near a coast and categorized as a plains landmass. That much more water may lead to uhhh…. our new home being sumberged from the first story 😂
