On the scale of eras, we’re in the early stages of a forced social evolution, either towards or away from stagnation and decay due to cultural and technological advances. If we’re able to adjust without descending into totalitarianism, we’re in the beginning of a new Renaissance. If we aren’t able to adjust, we’re on the verge of widespread economic collapse. Climate Change, coupled with a lack of medical infrastructure and effective disaster response, is the crucible.
