  1. Don’t believe what people say they are. Believe what they show you they are. I have had many people in my life who I wanted so badly to be who they said they were. Only to completely ignore everything they showed me to be the opposite. Words are misleading. Actions absolutely are not. Its in our actions that actually show us and everyone else who we truly are.

  2. A guy called Confucius, a while back said something like the following

“Every man has two lives, and the second starts when he realizes he has just one…”

Time is precious, and for not a one of us is it infinite

  3. Make backups of your important files.

I’m still annoyed that I lost my original Minecraft world back in 2011, due to the hard drive suffering a hardware-level fault.

  4. That when my uncle says “I won’t bail you out of jail” what he *actually* means is “I won’t bail you out of jail”.

    Who’d have thought.

  5. High expectations are prone to leading to disappointment.

This applies to all things, but personally, I find that it applies to people the most.

  6. Take a person’s actions seriously instead of his words. He can tell you the most wonderful things, things you want to hear, but you have to look at his actions to see what kind of guy he is.
