  1. Gold panning. Started doing it at the beginning of the pandemic and just enjoyed it! I have a ruptured Achilles, so I can’t hike like I used to. This is a great way to get out into nature and have fun doing it. Finding even a tiny speck of gold is pretty cool too!

  2. Knitting. You can make some great homemade gifts for people, and it’s easy once you get the hang of it!

Also, I build model roller coasters out of popsicle sticks and hot glue. That’s an uncommon hobby, but a box of sticks only costs $10.

  3. Fishing can be excepted it depends on how much they charge you, please do not go without a license some of the penalties are very harsh where I live I’ll give you 10 points on your license (10 points on your license)

  4. Gardening! You can get all your supplies for free or cheap from friends and neighbors- most gardeners are happy to offer cuttings, extra pots, advice, and supplies. If you start small with an easy house plant like pothos or some marigold seeds you’ll see pretty quickly how fun it is to have something alive because of you! Then it just takes sun, not drowning the plants with too much water, and an internet connection to look up why your plant is dropping. Sure, you will probably kill a few plants along the way, but keep at it and you’ll be able to grow your own food or you Nan’s favorite flower, and that’s a really satisfying feeling. If you’re wanting to make a little difference in the world, growing some native plants to help out your local bees and bugs is a good way to do that. Also, gardeners are often pretty chill people and it’s said that gardening helps you live a long life.

  5. You can buy some graphite and a reasonable art pad also you have to have a sharpener in a razor but I mean we’re talking like 20 bucks maybe 30? I love graphite are
