  2. We are killing our selves among with the majority of life on the planet if we don’t seriously do something if it isn’t already too late.

  3. We are just another species of animal. There is nothing supernatural or mystic that separates us from the rest of the animal kingdom. The underlying genetics, evolution, and basic vertebrate anatomy is all the same. Sure, we have come a long way in the intelligence department, but there is nothing inherently separating us from all our (sometimes very distant) cousins.

Or if you want to go full existential – humans are simply one branch of a billions years old chemical reaction that we call “life” in which a molecule called DNA has constantly adapted its outer coatings in order to keep replicating nonstop and without end. Everything that you think of as “you” is simply the latest iteration of this chemical reaction, all part of a molecules’ never-ending quest to self-replicate.

  4. You, the person reading, have racist tendencies. Its not your fault, its human nature. You don’t want to accept this because you think that makes you a bad person, and you can’t accept that possibility. But its okay, it doesn’t make you a bad person, it just makes you a person. What makes you a bad person is bending over backwards to justify those tendencies, rather than reflecting on them and purging them.

  5. Sometimes things just stop working, out of no fault of yours or theirs or anyone’s, but just because. Some people change, and some people don’t, and inevitably, some things between those changing and unchanging people will stop working.

  6. there is no cosmic justice. There is no Karma. The bad guys win. The selfish assholes succeed all the time with no repercussions, while selfless and kind people get shafted over and over.

The “just world” fallacy is a fallacy through and through. Bad people win and good people lose. That’s reality, no matter how much we wish it were different.
