  1. When the characters are watching breaking news on the TV and then as soon as they stop paying attention the sound of the TV is gone even though they never turned it off

  2. Being shot to death. People don’t fall over and die the moment the bullet hits them. They kinda run around like chickens with the head’s cut off for a bit sometimes.

  3. The sound usually used for an eagle call in movies is actually the call of a red tailed hawk. Eagles just don’t sound majestic enough, so they did the ol’ switcheroo

  4. Any choking scene, no back slap, immediate Heimlich. Normally done very wrong or badly.

It’s dangerous and not recommended. Instead try to remove it from their mouth, and give them firm slaps on the back.

  5. Space, for multiple reasons.

It’s a vacuum, so there should be no sound. Also no direction is up, so when two spaceships meet they shouldn’t both appear “upright”. And then explosions often look fiery despite the lack of oxygen for fire. Probably plenty of other stuff I’m not thinking of too.

  6. The protagonist rolls up to a huge event and there’s always a parking spot right in front. I know it wouldn’t make sense for them to have to park 6 blocks away and walk, but it always irks me.
