How only one side of the moon faces the earth. I get it that the rotation of the moon is roughly equal to the time it takes to circle the earth. And they say that one side faces the earth because a lot of the heavier metals in the moon’s core got pulled toward that side because of the earth’s gravity when the moon was still forming. That seems contradictory. To say that one side faces the earth because of the magnetic attraction of those metals toward the earth doesn’t track with the idea of a rotating sphere. It either rotates, or it doesn’t. If it rotates, at some point you would see the other side.
