  1. World cuisine. I was raised on a country bumpkin diet. Good food but not a lot of spice. Not a lot of variety. Some sort of meat. Some variety of potato and a vegetable.

My wife and mother in law introduced me to food from around the world. It took a hot minute to get used to but now I love food from all over the world with an affinity for spicy food.

  2. Horror movies, as a kid I was terrified of scary movies but now that I’m older I’ve realized that they’re all just stories and there’s nothing to be scared about. I mean I definitely feel the fear/suspense while watching the movies, but that fear doesn’t stick with me afterwards like it used to.
